This book is taking me so long to read, but I am really loving the story!

Finished recently

Both of these were pretty good, Always and forever Lara Jean looked more at college and I enjoyed that. I also don’t normally read biography’s or celebrities books but Anna Kendrick narrated the audio book herself and it was perfect.

“No Ideas But in Things”

A book cover that perfectly expresses the novel inside it:

I love this cover because of the colours but it also represents the book incredibly well.

“Dark and Lovely”

A book cover that is so creepalicious you just want to eat it up:

36959639

I don’t read creepy things often but I am feeling this one.

“Sugary Sweet”

A cute cover that is so fluffy you want to give it a hug:

The cover isn’t that fluffy but it is cute and I really love this book haha

“The Simple Aesthetic”

A book cover that stuns with the most minimalistic of design:

1index

This UK cover is so much better then the US cover! It is so simple but so gorgeous I really love it.

“Cover Envy”

A book cover you wish you had on your shelves, but don’t yet:

38330596

I am eagerly awaiting this release and the cover is just stunning!!

“Traveling Abroad”

A beautiful book cover featuring a country outside of your own:

GUEST_3d110abc-12f4-4a40-85b8-04be042fc2a1

I am so exited to read this, I only recently heard of it but I think it is going on my March TBR list.

“The Color Wheel”

A cover that showcases one of your favorite colors:

9781471116148

I like burgundy but there is weirdly no burgundy book covers, so blue is my second favourite 🙂

“Switching Gears”

A cover change you absolutely adore:

The first cover isn’t bad but the font/text completely ruins the cover for me. Plus the new cover is so pretty I will never get over it!

“Oldie but Goodie”

A favorite cover of your favorite classic:

62048914525717.56285824d3192

This was kind of hard because I haven’t read almost any classics, but I really like The outsiders and this cover is great!

“And the Winner is…”

Which book cover mentioned above is your favorite?

Thanks for reading 🙂 I tag anyone who wants to do it!

Down the TBR hole was created by Lia at Lost in a Story . The goal of this meme is to organize your TBR pile and get rid of books you no longer have any interest in reading.

The Rules:

  1. Go to your Goodreads To-Read shelf.
  2. Order on ascending date added.
  3. Take the first 5 (or 10 if you’re feeling adventurous) books
  4. Read the synopses of the books
  5. Decide: keep it or should it go?
  6. Repeat every week until the entire list has been filtered.

The books

It doesn’t sound bad or anything but I don’t think I will never get the motivation to read this.

TTT Favourite couples in books

20180415_0850161855715862.png

Top ten Tuesday is hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl and this weeks topic is Favorite Couples In Books.

Marko and Alana from Saga have such a crazy and awesome relationship and I loved it. Shirin and Ocean were so cute and realistic I absolutely loved a very large expanse of sea! And both of these are so great for showing interracial relationships 🙂

I cannot even tell you how much I love Lei and Wren from girls of paper and fire. The way they slowly fall for each other killed me. The seven husbands of Evelyn Hugo is an amazing book that deserves all the hype but what I loved most was Evelyn’s relationship with Celia. The struggles that Evelyn goes through hiding her relationship is just so fascinating to read.

Don’t kill me but I didn’t like Peter Kavinsky, I know. I just think John and Lara Jean would be so great together. And lastly is Liesel and Rudy from the book thief, I know they are not a couple but they were just so cute and I am heartbroken so it counts. UGH

Thanks for reading 🙂 Side note yesterday was my 1 year blogging anniversary!! I cant believe it has been a year that is crazy.

Arc Review: What Makes Girls Sick and Tired

41427834
What Makes Girls Sick and Tired is a feminist manifesto that denounces the discrimination against and unfairness felt by women from childhood to adulthood. The graphic novel, illustrated in a strikingly minimalist style with images of girls with varied body types and personalities, invites teenagers to question the sexism that surrounds us, in ways that are obvious and hidden, simple and complex.

The book’s beginnings as a fanzine shine through in its honesty and directness, confronting the inequalities faced by young women, everyday. And it ends with a line of hope, that with solidarity, girls will hurt less, as they hold each other up with support and encouragement.

What makes girls sick and tired is an amazing graphic novel that covers things like sexism and feminism. It is especially perfect for teenage/young girls to see such great diversity and to be able to learn about feminism in a fun way.

They talk about so much of why we still need feminism and the daily struggles of modern day women around the world. They use some great points and statistics that are meant to provoke a conversation. Not only is the message good the art is beautiful and so diverse.

The only con is that it is sooo short. Though if you are looking for a quick read that makes you think, then you will like it.

Thanks to Netgalley and the publishers for providing me with an arc! The publication date is march 18 if your interested 🙂

TTT Upcoming releases I’m on the fence about

20180415_0850161855715862.png

Top ten Tuesday is hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl and this weeks topic is Upcoming Releases I’m On the Fence About (these are the books you need help deciding if they’re worth adding to your TBR or not.)

Descendant of the crane and Spin the dawn Two Asian inspired fantasies, with some of the most amazing covers I have ever seen! I don’t really know too much about the stories though.

I have no clue what either of these are about. I liked the seven husbands of Evelyn Hugo and its the same author as Daisy Jones & the six so I was like cool why not? And I heard someone talk about Black Leopard, Red Wolf so I just added it to my TBR lol.

I am really not sure if I would like either of these, especially because This might hurt a bit has practically no ratings. Wilder girls is not what I usually lean toward but it looks cool.

Thanks for reading 🙂 What do you think about these upcoming releases?
